Group Timer Mode

Have fun with your friends with Group Timer mode, great to use when there’s no-one around to take your photo but you all want to be in the shot!

This is extremely easy-to-use, all you have to do is tell the camera how many people are going to be in the picture and the camera will automatically take the photo once all the faces appear in the frame, so you don’t have to worry about anyone getting missed out of the shot!

Handy for love birds

Couple Timer mode cleverly detects two faces in a frame and will automatically release the shutter button as the two faces come closer together. With three settings, users can set the timer to detect the faces at various distances, whether they are standing side by side, or cheek-to-cheek.

Perfect Portraits without any red-eye

The FinePix Z30 boasts Fujifilm's acclaimed ultra-fast Face Detection technology. This clever technology can quickly detect up to ten faces in a frame and adjusts focus, exposure and white balance to reveal perfect people pictures. The technology works regardless of the subject's position in the frame, and is not confused by anyone wearing glasses. To avoid dissapointing photos with red-eye, Face Detection goes one step further by detecting any red-eye in the shot and automatically removing it as the picture is taken.

Make your own Movie

Movie SymbolFeaturing Successive Movie mode, the FinePix Z30 allows you to shoot your own movies up to 60 seconds long. You can shoot them in one go or add to previously recorded movie file and resume shooting to create your minute long movie of successive events.

Automatic Scene Recognition

Now it's easier than ever to get stunning shots. Scene Recognition AUTO cleverly detects the scene being photographed and the camera automatically sets the appropriate shutter speed, exposure and white balance to ensure that you get the most from your photography. SR AUTO recognises Night, Landscape, Portrait, Night Portrait, Backlit Portrait and Macro scenes.

Portrait

Recognises portrait shots by detecting that there are faces in the frame and optimising focus, brightness and white balance accordingly.

Landscape

Automatically recognises scenic shots such as mountains and buildings. Ensures that vivid colours are captured & adds depth to your pictures.

Night

For low-light and night time scenarios, shutter speed and sensitivity are automatically adjusted, producing blur-free pictures with minimal noise.

Macro

Macro mode sets the focusing position of the details of small flowers or tiny subjects accurately.

Backlit Portrait

Optimises the brightness of the faces in the picture (that would usually end up in shadow) and compensates for the underexposure caused by the light behind.

Night Portrait

When photographing people at night or in low light, SR Auto optimises flash range, shutter speed, and the exposure of the portrait, whilst capturing a smooth and noiseless background.

Anti-blur

Nothing is more disappointing than taking a photo only to look at it and discover it’s blurred and that the moment has passed. Pictures taken in low-light conditions, and fast moving subjects, are especially susceptible to image blur.

To combat this, the FinePix Z30 features Picture Stabilisation, Fujifilm’s highly effective anti-blur technology, which works by increasing the cameras sensitivity to light (to ISO 1600) and shutter speed to deliver virtually blur-free images.

Have fun with your images by adding an artistic dimension, with a dozen special effects to choose from.

You can transform an image to look like a painting or illustration, you can even make your subject look like a miniature model or give your photos an interesting twist with the diagonal crop function.

Versatile Shooting Modes

No matter what the event or where you travel, the FinePix Z30 features easy–to–select shooting modes bringing you a simple point-and-shoot camera with automated settings. With a choice of 14 pre-programmed scene modes, like Snow, Sunset, & Flower all users have to do is select the appropriate scene and the camera adjusts its settings to get the best possible shot for that scene.
