Start filming Full HD movies of life's treasured moments in AVCHD. You'll appreciate the natural smoothness that 60i (50i for PAL) brings to your movies. For a more cinematic feel, you can shoot at 24p (25p for PAL), which has the same frame rate as traditional movies. You can even apply different Picture Effects to enhance your recordings. And with the built-in microphone, you can play back your movies with crisp and clear audio quality.

Give your portrait photos a professional look with Auto Portrait Framing. When it is enabled, it identifies the subject's face with Face Detection before automatically cropping parts of the scene away to create a well-balanced composition. The original photo is also saved so you can compare and decide which version expresses the best mood.
