True Widescreen
Record panoramic true widescreen movies straight to disc and monitor them in 16:9 on the camcorder’s 2.7" widescreen LCD. To preserve battery power switch to the 0.27" widescreen colour EVF (Electronic Viewfinder).
DIGIC DV II
Inherited from Canon’s High Definition (HD) camcorder range, DIGIC DV II is a super-fast image processor. Its extra processing power means that image data can be handled rapidly, helping the DC211 to produce vivid, colourful movies. With advanced noise reduction technology, images appear crisper and clearer.

The DC211 offers greater recording capacity thanks to support for Dual Layer DVDs. Store up to 108 minutes of digital video on a single disc.
